Member Terms

The owner must review governing law, age requirements, contact details, liability language, and enforcement/appeal process before production launch.

1. Voluntary membership

You may create only the registration tied to the SteamID64 you prove through Steam OpenID. Do not impersonate another person, share or automate a member session, interfere with authentication, or attempt to add an account that has not opted in. Signing in, accepting the preview documents, and completing profile enrichment do not publish your preview registration.

2. The Dogshit Players theme

The name and irreverent gaming theme are intended as consensual community humor among members. They are not permission for threats, targeted harassment, discrimination, doxxing, deception, or efforts to harm another person. Do not join or rate if you do not want to participate in that context.

3. Member profile

Your member area uses your verified SteamID64 and selected public Steam metadata. SteamID64 is immutable; display and vanity names are mutable aliases. Metadata is retrieved for your verified account during the consent flow; manual refresh is unavailable in the preview. You can deactivate or request deletion if you no longer want to participate.

4. Ratings

Ratings are unavailable during the registration preview. The draft Rating Rules describe a possible later membership release, not a capability granted by registration. Enabling public profiles or ratings requires updated documents and fresh versioned consent; your preview registration does not grant that consent automatically.

5. Free and Premium

The registration preview has no payment, purchase, renewal, or promised Premium benefit. Membership-tier changes are unavailable in this preview. Any later paid offering would need separate, clear terms; this draft does not create one.

6. Moderation

Authorized administrators may search registrations, suspend a profile, review restricted moderation records, and complete a member-requested deletion. Rating moderation and membership-tier changes are unavailable in the preview. Administrators cannot create an Active member or bypass ownership verification and consent. Lifting a suspension does not activate the profile: the member must sign in again, accept current versions, and successfully retrieve their own metadata.

7. Availability and external data

The service and Steam data are provided as-is and may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or changed. The owner may make proportionate security and maintenance changes, but this draft makes no service-level or error-free guarantee. Never rely on a rating for employment, credit, housing, safety, or another high-impact decision.

8. Ending membership and terms changes

You may deactivate or request deletion as described in the dedicated notice. The owner may suspend abusive or unsafe use. Contact support@dogshitplayers.org for account support or an appeal. New configured document versions require fresh explicit acceptance; a later public release cannot publish preview registrations automatically. The responsible operator, effective date, and remaining launch facts must still be confirmed before this draft becomes operative.
